L.A.GREENS will walk the picket line while our massage therapists give free massages to the strikers.

MASSAGE, ANYONE? L.A. GREENS OFFER MASSAGES TO LOCKED-OUT, STRESSED-OUT UFCW

STRIKERS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

Massage therapists from the L.A. Greens, a local chapter of the Green Party of

California, will be "on hand" to offer free massages to on-strike United Food

and Commercial Workers Union members on Saturday, October 18 from 10:00 a.m. to

11:00 a.m. at Ralphs on 3rd and La Brea in Los Angeles and on Sunday, October

19 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the "Rock ‘n Roll" Ralphs at Sunset and

Fuller in Hollywood.

"As Green Party members we fully believe in and are committed to achieving

Universal Health Care. However, until that day, we want to encourage UFCW

members to stay the course in the fight for their own health care. These

massages are the L.A. Greens way of ‘lending a hand,’ so to speak, and to

remind the public that there are real people out here with real families for

whom health care is of the utmost importance," stated Denise Munro Robb,

co-facilitator of the L.A. Greens Chapter.
