THE IMCLIBERATIONFRONT (IMCLF) conducted a free-speech campaign aimed at the increasingly irrational behavior of nycimc editorial censors.

Starting at 8:45am, the IMCLF posted a test pattern (soon after censored), a list of demands with a 30 second sound file (still up as of writing), and a Latuff political cartoon depicting the demolition of the nycimc by an incoming plane labeled \"CENSORSHIP\" (also still up as of this time [2:50 Eastern] ).

Another post, depicting the president, as the ventriloquist's dummy Howdy-Doody, and labeled \"Money Talks\" was also yanked. The image reappeared in wrapped in yellow emergency tape with the words \"DO NOT CRITICIZE\" and \" \"B.O.G. NYCIMC IS OCCUPIED TERRITORY G.O.B.\" emblazoned it.

Last to appear was another episode of \"AUDIO-PUPPET THEATRE,\" along with a transcript, titled: \"The B.O.G.\" (Benevolent Occupational Government).

The Free-Speech Convergence coincided with the anniversary of the 9.11 attacks.

Presumably, the bomb-making instructions link (to \"Steal This Book\" - the sixties radical classic) was retained, rather than censored, in solidarity with Sherman Austin - the California youth, fined and locked up for posting links to bomb-making instructions on his web site - and support of free-speech rights.

No indications of increased traffic appear to have resulted from advanced notice of the Free-Speech Convergence on nycimc, censorship, however, seems to remain the order of the day.

Critics charge that nycimc editors are wield dictatorial powers and exploit content providers for their own advantage.
