HOW MANY TRANSGENDERS HAVE TO DIE BEFORE YOU GET INVOLVED?



On June 22, 2003 Transgenders and their allies will march as a coalition to bring awareness of the atrocities that are happening to the transgender community fueled by hate. A large banner stating 'HOW MANY TRANSGENDER HAVE TO DIE BEFORE YOU GET INVOLVED' will guide our march. Followed by posters with pictures of transgenders who have lost their lives, and messages of the needed support from our allies.

This march will take place as a contingency in the 2nd largest pride parade Christopher Street West, in the City of West Hollywood, California. There is over 100 people expected to march including representatives from all agencies whom provide services to the transgender community in Los Angeles.



All marchers are encouraged to wear white as a symbol of peace and unity.



When: Sunday June 22, 2003 @ 10:00 a.m.

Where: Santa Monica Blvd and Fairfax.

There will be a designated person with a sign \"Trans March\" giving the location within the contingency.
