Join us for a night of revolutionary hip hop, speakers, open mic, and unity to speak out against the intensified war being waged against our communites here at home by local and federal law enforcement agencies as they continue to harass, brutalize, racially profile, round-up and target and surveill political descendents.\r\n

Proceeds from the event will go to help Sherman Austin from Raise the Fist who was radied by the FBI under the U.S Patriot Act on Jan 24, 2002 (has sentencing on June 30th, 2003) and for Javier Perez who was deported after being arrested at a brutal police riot in Long Beach on May 1, 2001.\r\n

\r\nJoin us for a night of revolutionary hip-hop & \r\nhardcore music along with speakers and art to express \r\nthe furiosity of resistance as we build support for \r\nJavier Perez who was deported and seperated from his \r\nfamily after being arrested at a brutal police riot in \r\nLong Beach on Mayday2001 in & For Sherman Austin \r\nfounder of http:\/\/www.raisethefist.com, whose house was \r\nraided on Jan 24, 2002 by 25 heavily armed FBI and \r\nSecret Service agents under the new US Patriot Act \r\n(and will be sentedced to jail time on June 30, 2003) \r\n100% of the $$ raised at this event will be split \r\n50%-50% to go to Sherman Austin and Javier Perez. \r\nThe cost is $5.00 donation, but nobody will be turned \r\nway for lack of funds \r\n<\/p>

\r\nDIRECTIONS: Get on Interstate 5. Go towards La \r\nJolla \r\n(north of San Diego, south of everywhere else) \r\nExit La Jolla Village Drive. Go west on La Jolla \r\nVillage Drive. Go past Villa La Jolla Drive (where the \r\ngas station is) Immediately after Villa La Jolla Drive \r\nis an Off-Ramp on to Gilman Drive. (on the right) Take \r\nthis off-ramp. Turn right at the stop sign at the end \r\nof the ramp. (you will now be going north on Gilman \r\nDrive) Make a left at the first stop sign on to \r\nScholar's Drive. (when you make this turn, there will \r\nbe an Information booth on your right) The Ché Café is \r\nthe mural-covered building on your left about 200 feet \r\nahead. . There's a huge parking lot a little farther \r\nup the hill, with plenty of parking for everyone \r\n\r\n<\/p>
