On Wednesday hundreds of angry people hit the streets demanding an end to the U.S. occupation. A U.S. convoy opened fire on the demonstrators for the second time this week. Three people were killed, and a hospital administrator said 18 were wounded.

When the convoy of occupation troops arrived at the scene, Iraqi demonstrators threw stones at them.
