The first few days on CNN, it was all war. No Congressional meetings from any country or from the U.N. were aired during the times I could watch(generally prime time). Voices of dissent inside governments, like Nancy Pelosi, were jumping on the bandwagon as fast as it passed them up, although the Brits were less cooperative to Blair.

It has now been six days. First reports are transfixed on the fact that we are not winning like we'd hoped, hell, even our food rations are met with bullets. Six days later, the parliaments of the world are again on CNN, and again they are blasting the war, those who speak eloquently are anyway. Others are \"supporting our troops.\" But the noise from Bagdhad, is getting a bit quieter.

Watching the news, scanning for news, listening to news, I know a lot more happens in one day of war than a few stories of an errant bomb. Yet the same stories are repeated, as if there is a lack of action down there. What stories are going untold? Has the dirty water begun to make Basran's sick yet, have American supply covoys really been raided by guerillas? WTF is going on, pardon the french?

It seems 300,000, or even one million U.S. troops may not be able to pull this off after all. And it is sure now, more than ever before, that civilians will be devastated. It's shaping up to be our generations Vietnam.

And so, the American totalitarians are jamming Al Jazeera web casts, smashing Iraqi TV stations, and killing as many innocents as they can where reporters are unlikely to be. It's getting more and more silent on the American side, who is really dying cannot be surmised anymore.

It's clear to me that someone is trying to hide the death of war from us. But none of us will sleep better tonight, for what we can't see but still feel, will definately hurt us.

The thing that strikes me funny about CNN, don't they know people read between lines? Don't they know that we have evolved and adapted to knowing what propoganda really means instead of just blindly believing it. Those that blindly believe anything end up commiting acts of atrocity. We have eyes, and aren't buying the half assed news.

CNN- Cronie News Network, what a friggin joke. I watch it just because I can infer that a lot of bad things happen, just by their silence. The more they blackout, the more I can assume we're really fucking this up bad. Good morning Vietnam!!

If anyone gets a chance, check out the Jamaican representative's speach to the U.N. yesterday, it was like Marley talkin to the U.N. mon, really jammin.

This is it, we can either sit by and allow us to be dragged in, or we can demand Bush and his oil mongers go. Define freedom, and you will find, Bush wants nothing of it. Every day, it get's closer and closer to guerilla war. Remember the last five or six times we tried guerilla warfare- we lost.

And now there's talk of carpet bombing Bagdhad. \"Napalm bombing, ground invation, fuck your gentler kinder nation,\" that's from the last gulf tragedy, it's a chant refering to Bush's thousand points of light speech. If this is light, it sure is blinding.<\/p>\n","contact":"","link":"","address":"","phone":"","parent_id":0,"mime_type":"text\/plain","summary":"Has anyone noticed the hush....","numcomment":0,"fileurl":"\/uploads\/","filesize":null,"article_url":"\/news\/2003\/03\/42556.php"},"attachments":[],"comments":[]}
