Please remember the majority of the 9\/11 terrorists were Saudis, not Iraqis; Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden strongly dislike one another.  The United States GAVE Saddam Hussein weapons after we gave the Iranians weapons because they held a bunch of Americans captive--this juxtaposes how the United States also gave the Afghanis weapons to fight the Russians off and then later bombed Afghanistan, didn't rebuild any cities at all, and installed a president who's around like a groundhog on Groundhog Day.\r\n<p>\r\nI don't think going in there with a bunch of tanks and bombs is a civil way of going upon it. I'm not with Saddam Hussein or any terrorists; I'm not anti-American. I want peace negotiations and the way I see it bombing \r\nthe fuck out of Iraq is going to set PEACE back 20 years or more, bring on more terrorist activity against the U.S., and the overturn of Saddam's regime and the installation of democracy will not last because the Iraqis have been suffering for a decade from the effects of UN sanctions and would be likely to suffer even more in ensuing chaos.\r\n<p>\r\nImperialism is a cause that only brings upon more terrorism we have a &quot;war&quot; against; it is a case of Manifest Destiny.  Imperialist actions in the Middle East aren't going to do anything but incite terrorism and anti-American sentiments. What is this, Germany 1933?  The United States would not be justified, especially under UN codes, if we went over there and said &quot;Hey, this is American land now, you're either with us or with Osama bin Laden\/Saddam Hussein\/terrorists,&quot; much like Bush's riding line, 'You're either with us, or with the terrorists.'  I'm not a terrorist; I'm not with Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, or any other Islamic fundamentalistic group bent on terrorizing other people, and neither is anyone else on this website and many if its partners.\r\n<p>\r\nPeople aren't too different as to want peace for their country and their neighbors and friends. Warlike aggression is not a trait of the people; it is a trait of their leaders.\r\n<p>\r\nI'm NOT for putting a bunch of AWOL-war-avoidant oil barons in charge of monkeying around with foreign affairs.  Bush, Cheney, Ashcroft, and Rumsfeld ALL avoided serving in the military.  What do they know about the effects of war if they haven't been?  Even Ronald Reagan didn't go to WWII because he had a great excuse:  Hollywood.  He wasn't too old--he was in his 30s in the 1940s.  \r\n<p>\r\nWe are NOT:  Communists, anti-Americans, godless sodomists, corrupt evil liberals, et cetera.
