At the end of the march, a speaker said during the downpour, “it is a beautiful day in Los Angeles... for democracy.” Despite the rain, around 30,000 people showed up in downtown Los Angeles to protest the war on Iraq. The March started around 1 PM and ended around 2 PM in front of the Federal building. From 2:10 PM to 3 PM, speakers from different organization took the microphone to denounce the Bush administration plan of war against Iraq.
