Newsweek also reported that this information was conveyed to the CIA and British intelligence.

Newsweek (3\/3\/03) reported that this witness, Hussein Kamel, was the Iraqi General and Weapons Chief who defected in 1995 and that he said, “after the Gulf War, Iraq destroyed all its chemical and biological weapons stocks and the missiles to deliver them.”

This is a major revelation that directly contradicts the Bush Administration pretext for war. This story deserves major investigation and coverage.

For months now, George Bush, Dick Cheney, Colin Powell and Tony Blair have all used Kamel's testimony as proof of the existence of weapons of mass destruction, yet a transcript of Kamel’s interview with the UN clearly states the opposite.

The obvious question is yet to be answered: Why are the obvious contradictions of the Bush and Blair Administrations unexamined? For all logical appearances, the President has lied to the world in order to start a war! Why isn’t this story receiving greater coverage?
