Nevel looked at Hitler as a man who could be\r\nreasoned with. Nevel never even began to see the true\r\nevil of Hitler's plans. Within a decade of\r\nChamberlin's policy of appeasement, over 6,000,000\r\nJews and other "unclean" people had been put to death\r\nby the Nazi regime. Ironically, Chamberlin had no\r\nidea that Hitler would use gas on his victims. \r\nHowever, this time, we are dealing with a mad man, who\r\nnot only rules by terror and tyranny, but he has in\r\nfact used chemical gas on both his enemies (the\r\nIranians) and his own people (the Kurds).\r\n\r\n So, as you yellow-bellied self-sanctified\r\nliberals type away on your computers in reasonable\r\nsafety, remember that it wouldn't take much for a\r\n"dirty bomb" or other chemical disbursement delivery\r\ndevice to be set off in the parking lot of a major\r\nsporting event or other large crowd gathering. If you\r\nthink what happened with the twin towers has horrific,\r\nthen wait until you hear the horrendous cries of\r\ninnocent people suffering from nerve gas exposure. \r\nWait until you see the results of human skin coming in\r\ncontact with blister agents. Wait until terrorists\r\nstart blowing themselves up on American soil. Most of\r\nthis will probably be captured by our faithful media\r\nin full living (so to speak) color. Maybe, just\r\nmaybe, you will understand that there are times when\r\nwar is justified.\r\n\r\n There is an old saying that “those who do not\r\nstudy history are doomed to repeat its mistakes.” If\r\nyou have never heard, or understood, the story of\r\nNevel Chamberlin and Adolph Hitler, I urge you to\r\nsearch the internet and do some investigating. The\r\nsituation unfolding today is very similar to what\r\nhappened so many years ago. However, this time we are\r\nmuch more prepared to deal effectively with the\r\nthreat. \r\n\r\n On a personal note, as a veteran with over 18\r\nyears of military service, I can’t say that I am eager\r\nto see people die. Military people always prepare for\r\nwar and pray for peace. That said, if I am called, I\r\nwill answer. I have taken an oath, a sacred vow to\r\ndefend my country against all enemies, both foreign\r\nand domestic. Most of you, who have never had the\r\nhonor to serve your country will never fully\r\nunderstand this concept. Again, I hope that you can\r\ncontinue to live your lives in relative peace and\r\nsecurity. In the mean time, you can take all your\r\npetty little war protests and shove them where the sun\r\ndoesn’t shine! Go join the French for all I care. \r\nThey have been stomped twice by evil forces. And\r\ntwice we have had to save their buts. I really\r\nwouldn’t mind seeing them get trashed again just to\r\nsnap them out of their arrogance. At the very least,\r\nmaybe they should tour the graves of the thousands of\r\nAmericans who gave their lives to liberate that\r\ncountry. \r\n\r\n If military action is taken, I don’t expect to\r\nsee “thousands of Americans coming back in body bags”\r\nas Sadam Hussein has threatened. I expect that you\r\nwill see the surgical precision of the previous Gulf\r\nWar, with many improvements (as we have had over a\r\ndecade to improve our technology). We are not going\r\nafter civilians (like Sadam Hussein has), we are going\r\nto neutralize his fighting capability… by whatever\r\nmeans it takes. Get a clue, get a life!
