The slogans that the public seems to respond to best are:  <br><br> - Money for Education, Not for War!  <br>  <br> - Money for Healthcare, Not for Warfare! (note: one of our regular protesters is particularly fond of this slogan's parallel construction)  <br>  <br> - Money for Housing, Not for War!  <br>  <br> - Drop Bush, Not Bombs!  <br><br> For our motorist audience, large lettering is ideal. More complex messages than those suggested above may be incomprehensible or confusing to passersby.  <br><br> We will have several signs available for those who cannot  provide their own.  <br><br> We need as many protesters out there on Saturday as we can possibly get! Bring friends....family...total strangers!  <br><br> Our group does not have a single political or religious affiliation. If you wish to bring signs\/flags\/banners indicating your individual affiliations, you are welcome to do so.  <br><br> Please note that ours is not a silent vigil.  <br>  <br> We shout  messages related to our goal!  <br>  <br> We encourage motorists to honk their horns and make lots of supportive noise!  <br>  <br> We also encourage them to join us!  <br>  <br> We release our anger related to Bush's war plans in constructive ways!  <br>  <br> It is a cardinal rule that we have FUN while we protest!  <br>  <br> <\/p>\n","contact":"evelynsq@pacbell.net","link":"","address":"","phone":"","parent_id":0,"mime_type":"text\/plain","summary":"Come out to North East Los Angeles.","numcomment":0,"fileurl":"\/uploads\/","filesize":null,"article_url":"\/news\/2002\/12\/23788.php"},"attachments":[],"comments":[]}
