Los Angeles:

Join the movement for global feminist solidarity and find out how U.S. and Salvadoran women are working together to end capitalist piracy! Ms. Hernández is a co-founder of Mujeres Radicales and the Workers and Peasants School in San Salvador. She will discuss the impact of the 12-year civil war and the current “free trade” policies on women, and their efforts to fight back. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear an eyewitness account of the October 23, 2002 protest by 120,000 doctors, nurses, other workers and students protesting the IMF-ordered privatization of healthcare.

A delicious Salvadoran roast chicken dinner, with vegetarian option, will be served at after the program, at 5pm, for an $8.00 donation. Door donation $2. Low income and work exchanges available, no one turned away for lack of funds.

The event will be held at Solidarity Hall,

2170 W. Washington Blvd. (off Freeway 10 at Western, on bus line # 68) in Los Angeles.
