I learned this through organizing the Hijas de Juarez exhibit.  Our presentation was a beginning point in which we honored the lives of all women who have been murdered in a world---a world in which no one seems to care.  Well---we care.  Our idea was to create a  community dialogue about  the objectification of human lives.  I beleive this is a human issue, not a man-woman, nor a United States-Other Countries issue.   I realize to most this may seem like a huge endeavor to accomplish----ensuring the safety and respect for all human lives.  Yet, my thought is that turning a blind eye filled with anger and resentment  paralyzes us to act  as a human and thereby creates a stagnant humanity.","author":"Victoria Delgadillo","parent_id":21635,"mime_type":"text\/plain","created":"2003-02-28 18:36:28","modified":"2003-02-28 18:36:28","fileurl":""}]}
