Hello,

Perhaps you have heard about Gore Vidal's essay 'The Enemy Within' that was published October 27th 2002 in The Observer (UK)?

Here's an artcle *about* the essay, published in the Observer

http:\/\/www.observer.co.uk\/international\/story\/0<\/a>,6903,819931,00.html

Unfortunately, the Observer has not yet put Vidal's essay online.

So, I scanned, uploaded it & napstered it.

I know that these pages are a lot to download, my apologies. Perhaps someone can be kind enough to transcribe them into text and post it on Indymedia?

Thanks and please spread around,
