Date of Death: May 24, 2000 \r\n\r\n\r\n <\/p>
Arlene H. Berry died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 41 less than 24 hours after being\r\n admitted to the Kirkland & District hospital. She presented initially with flu-like symptoms that\r\n have since been thoroughly researched and computer traced to the common but unpleasant side\r\n effects of a post-operative course of radiation\r\n therapy , and chemotherapy,\r\n suggestive of iatrogenic hepatic\r\n encephalopathy, i.e. liver, \r\n encephalopathy, or toxic hepatitis. She\r\n was transferred to Sudbury Regional Hospital only hours before she died. No autopsy was\r\n performed. \r\n\r\n <\/p>
