date 8-24-02 Bush's swing through the state on a fund raising campaign for Bill Simon Jr. arrived in town this morning. He was more than "warmly" greeted by many hundred (my estimate) Californians. They came out at 7a.m. to thank him for a whole list of unforgivable deeds. Not least, of which was allowing his energy cronies to raid our state treasury by in part feigning a power crisis and then pinning it on those "environrnentalist" in California for not building enough power plants.
