Most of those who went, left Denver with a renewed sense of inspiration and hope.  <br><br> Columbus day is a holiday that celebrates U.S. imperialism. It celebrates war, misery and white supremacy. It celebrates the worst things about our current society and political situation. Those who oppose it - indigenous peoples, anarchists, progressives, anti-racists, regular folk, and others - come together every year to organize against it.  <br><br> \"We need to realize that our roots are anarchist\" - Russell Means (AIM Activist)  <br><br> As we make the connections between the global and the local &ndash; between the need for national demonstrations against the International Monetary Fund (IMF)\/World Bank, the regional Four Winds March and continued local resistance and actions, we are making ties to a struggle that says we stand in solidarity with all those who resist imperialism, racism, state violence and globalization. The history of the SouthWest is fraught with the struggles of Indigenous People who resisted American repression. These struggles continue to this day, with activists like AIM and the Dine&rsquo; Black Mesa land resisters taking on the struggle in their day to day lives. As anarchists and activists, we need to be supporting these people in every way possible and this action is just one way to do that.  <br><br> This year, Columbus Day, October 7-14, Denver  <br><br> There will be two large scale actions this year, both confronting the imperialism of the United States, one in Washington D.C. against the IMF \/World Bank and the other in Denver. This is a call out to individuals, collectives, federations, coalitions, and associations - anyone who is interested in West Coast solidarity and issues - to attend the action in Colorado. What&rsquo;s most lacking on the West Coast right now is the communication and dialogue between the different regions. The experience and knowledge we have is unique, so the more we get together to share ideas, the closer we will be to a more viable, and sustainable resistance movement.  <br><br> We are not trying to trump or out-organize the mobilization in D.C. In fact, some of the anti-Columbus Day organizers will be attending the action against the IMF\/WB. Unfortunately big actions far away only leave room for a couple activists in a collective to attend. We intend to create a space for those in the West to converge for a weekend, make some solid connections and hopefully communicate more effectively in the future.  <br><br>  <br>  <br> 510 Years of Resistance  <br><br> Not just for anarchists or indigenous people, the Columbus Day action is for anyone. Some, who waited too long, believing in trying to give integration a\r\nchance, lost billions of dollars in property values. Some lost more than\r\nthat. Many whites lost their lives behind a business counter, blown away by\r\nan African American youth in search of drug money.\r\n\r\nAfrican Americans didn't even have to try hard in order to insure\r\ndestruction of our previously successful cities, businesses, and\r\ninfrastructures. After all, millions of their African American ancestors\r\nhave been practicing this type of behavior in Africa, South America, The\r\nCarribean, and in the Southern American States for centuries. In addition,\r\nAfrican Americans have the liberals behind them. These same liberals in the\r\nSoviet Union produced the most remarkable economic and human rights\r\ndisasters in the history of the modern world, a testament to the failure of\r\ncentralized planning and theorems unproven by any successes whatsoever, only\r\nfailures, and which, on the local level, have produced only destruction of\r\nonce viable communities which had lasted more than one hundred years without\r\ncentral government intervention and which would very likely have lasted many\r\nhundreds of years longer without central governmental intervention.\r\n\r\nBut the central government, claiming it knew better, intervened. In doing\r\nso, the federal government, run by wild-eyed, energetic liberals, fueled by\r\nunwise, untested, and unproven Marxist ideas about right and wrong in\r\nreference to economics, orchestrated the rapid destruction of our once\r\nprosperous and civilized urban areas through unwise policies fueled by\r\nideological belief structures and little else except inflated wind.\r\n\r\nBy the time that HUD, the Department of Justice, and the Democratic Party\r\nwere well under way, America's cities were finished. Now, the African\r\nAmericans, having destroyed our cities block by block, are moving into our\r\nsuburbs to destroy them in the same way. While doing so, the African\r\nAmericans are complaining about us. And we are funding and feeding their new\r\nadventures aimed at destroying what we now have, just as they destroyed what\r\nwe owned and worked hard to develop a generation ago in the cities.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOK, here's something different:  A few years ago Trenton, North Carolina,\r\ngot a Negress mayor, Sylvia Willis, &quot;the first black ever to serve in\r\nTrenton government and the town's first female mayor.&quot; We were told that she\r\nwas &quot;succeeding a white man (Mayor Joffree Leggett) who quit after saying\r\nblacks are unfit to govern.&quot; To put not too fine an edge on the situation,\r\nthe town of Trenton is doomed. It is destructive enough to have Negroes or\r\nfemales in government. When government consists of Negro females the depths\r\nof horror cannot be plumbed.\r\n\r\nMr. Leggett's unspeakable crime, according to the Establishment propaganda\r\nmedia, was expressing a universal truth. Negroes are unfit to govern. I have\r\ntraveled in Africa and seen it for myself. Their crumbling cities (that were\r\nbuilt by white colonists), their disintegrating transportation system (that\r\nwas created by white colonists), their crippled industry (which was invented\r\nby white colonists), and their ruined agriculture (which was introduced by\r\nwhite colonists), are all tributes to the horrors of Negro government.\r\n\r\nHaiti is another example. Once -- under White rule -- the &quot;jewel of the\r\nCaribbean,&quot; now squalid, fetid, disintegrating; Haiti radiates the\r\nincompetence, corruption, and ineptitude inherent in Negro government. If we\r\nseek an example closer to home, we need look no further than the decades of\r\nNegro government in 75% Negro Kinshasha-on-Potomac (Washington DC), the\r\ncrumbling wreck of a once lovely (White-run) city. The pattern repeats\r\nitself in city after Negro-governed city.\r\n\r\nNegroes habitually decry &quot;White flight&quot; from increasingly Negro governed\r\ncities as &quot;racist.&quot; They are correct, because racialism (or its gutter\r\nversion, &quot;racism&quot;) means: &quot;Belief in the superiority of a particular race\r\nleading to prejudice and antagonism toward people of other races, esp. those\r\nin close proximity who may be felt as a threat to one's cultural and racial\r\nintegrity or economic well being.&quot; [OED, 2nd ed.] Given the political,\r\neconomic and cultural vandalism Negroes have inflicted upon America and its\r\ninstitutions, the words &quot;White supremacy&quot; are redundant, and because\r\nintegration with Negroes is &quot;a threat to [White] cultural and racial\r\nintegrity or economic well being,&quot; no White in his right mind, or with a\r\nsense of responsibility for the safety and well being of his family, would\r\nintentionally live among Negroes or consent to be governed by them.\r\n\r\nIntelligent Negroes don't want to live among their own kind either. They\r\nfollow Whites into the suburbs. Unfortunately, the majority of their race\r\nfollows them, or they are imported by Negro pandering governments through\r\nthe miracle of compelled integration, sparking yet another &quot;White flight&quot; to\r\nescape the ongoing barbarizing of a culture and civilization Negroes could\r\nnot have created, but are pleased to loot and destroy.\r\n\r\nNegro government is best described by a quote from Communist Party member\r\nJames S.
