What rights do immigrants have in Mexico or any other country in the Western Hemisphere other than Canada and the United States? As a Mexican-American myself, I find the immigrant rights movement is just more hate-America poison and falshoods from the meta-left. What should be done? Guard the borders. Deport illegals. No free medical care for border jumpers. No citizenship for children of illegal immigrants. Latin American countries don't bankupt themselves this way--why should the United States? Sadly, the immigrants rights movement is fueled on the backwardness of its adherents. I mean, have any of you read the Constitution? Simply stated, it secures the individual's right not to have her income redistributed to others by the government. What unassimilated Indian from Mexico or Central America even knows the concept of land ownership? We have to shut the door.
