On February 28, Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle said that while he supports President Bush's efforts to fight terror, there seems to be an \"expansion without at least a clear direction\" in the administration's war on terrorism.

Senate Minority Leader Trent Lott immediately criticized Daschle, saying, \"He should not be trying to divide our country while we are united.\"

Are Sen. Daschle's concerns legitimate? Or was he wrong to make such comments?
