Hello Everyone,

This is just a reminder that this Friday Nov. 23 we will be showing the

movie Paint it Black: anarchism, urban uprising, and the mainstream news

Also, we forgot to mention on our calendar that we will be closed tomorrow

Thursday 22. Other news, our hours have changed slightly: now we open

Tuesday-Thursday 2pm-7pm, Friday & Saturday 3pm-8pm, closed Sunday-Monday.

We will also be undergoing some significant changes in the weeks to come as

the good folks with whom we were sharing the space will soon be letting us

have the whole thing. We want to publicly thank Guillermo and Catherine for

allowing us to share the space all this time and for helping in getting Flor

y Canto started. We wish them the best in all their future projects.

Along with having more space, we've also taken on a bigger chunk of rent

we need to pay. We will be coming up with some fund raising ideas soon,

but for now, we want to encourage everyone to come check out our small

selection of radical books that are available. We just got a new shipment of

books, including the 2002 Slingshot Organizer and the Sheroes Calendar,

\"Murdering the Dead: Bordiga on Capitalism and Other Disasters\" which is

quite appropriate during these times, and quite a few other titles that

would make great gift ideas (hint, hint!). We will also have a Flor y Canto

t-shirt soon (hopefully by December) so you can wear your support for this

project. As you all may know, Flor y Canto is an all volunteer project (none

of us get paid) which intends to provide a social space for the local
