Mediattack! is an activist music label for punks, and teenage/adult audiences into hardcore and alternative music. The focus of the label is to release music that promotes change for improving animal rights, poverty, nuclear, anti-war, homelessness, environmental, and social policies at a grassroots level. The label was setup to motivate audiences around the country to get involved in activism by motivation through listening to the music. The focus of the label is to express to audiences who are confused about punk and hardcore music and the motivation behind the expression. The Mediattack! music group known as A Collectiv coins the phrase in their lyrics, "punk is not a business or a job option - get a job in socialist assistance if you believe in the equality of classes, it is time to change for the positivity of life."
