Don Quixote is the best book out there on political theory, followed by Hamlet and Macbeth. There is no better way to understand the tragedy and the comedy of the Mexican political system than Hamlet, Macbeth and Don Quixote. They're much better than any column of political analysis.\"","numcomment":1,"fileurl":"\/uploads\/2001\/07\/a_zapatist.txt","filesize":"6.4 kibibytes","article_url":"\/news\/2001\/07\/8457.php"},"attachments":[],"comments":[{"id":8462,"heading":"Garcia Lorca","article":"I definitely recommend Garcia Lorca as well. He has written some very powerful stuff! Always try to find the Spanish version if possible as the traslation loses so much. I have a book with the original Spanish and its English translation on the facing page given to me by my cousin. That is a good way to go too. If anyone is interested, I will dig that out and try to get publisher info and such. A little less political, but another great Latin writer is Alfonsina Storni, though hard to come by in the English speaking world.","author":"Be_disobedient","parent_id":8457,"mime_type":"text\/plain","created":"2001-07-06 14:57:23","modified":"2001-07-06 15:19:19","fileurl":""}]}
