I think I understand and agree with the positive aspects of this, but I wonder if they are not outweighed by the cons: Although I love avante garde art, I believe that most people do not, and moreover, that cops are chosen and trained to be suspicious of anything out of the ordinary. Thus I cannot help but wondering if rallies wouldn’t reach more people, and be treated less harshly by cops, if the art and theater were more somewhat more traditional.<\/p>\n","contact":"","link":"","address":"","phone":"","parent_id":0,"mime_type":"text\/plain","summary":"Question for Other Activist Artists and Supporters","numcomment":1,"fileurl":"\/uploads\/","filesize":null,"article_url":"\/news\/2001\/06\/8015.php"},"attachments":[],"comments":[{"id":8429,"heading":"Landscape Painting Against BioTech","article":"Seriously though - This link goes to the activists handbook and talks about a lot of different tactics. It is a good resourse. If there were people interested in doing different types of protest related art, which I'm sure there are.
