This photograph was supplied to my by L.A. Activist, Walter Lippmann ( walterlx@earthlink.net<\/a> ). The photo shows some of the nearly 100 or so Pro-Pacifica demonstrators who gathered outside the radio station's offices. Long time KPFK listeners by the THOUSANDS are in opposition to the course KPFK and Pacifica have taken recently, and a mass, democratic movement is in motion to reclaim KPFK and return it to it's original principles. Daily pickets are happening at KPFK, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in front of the station at 3729 Cahuenga Blvd., North Hollywood. There will be a SUPER picket on Thursday afternoon (4:00-6:00 May 24th) in support of DEMOCRACY NOW... which is currently being censored by KPFK's management.<\/p>\n","contact":"vallen@art-for-a-change","link":"http:\/\/www.art-for-a-change.com","address":"","phone":"","parent_id":0,"mime_type":"image\/jpeg","summary":"Protestors outside the North Hollywood studios of KPFK","numcomment":0,"fileurl":"\/uploads\/2001\/05\/kpfk.jpg","filesize":"21.5 kibibytes","article_url":"\/news\/2001\/05\/6959.php","image":{"original":"\/uploads\/2001\/05\/kpfk.jpg","small":"\/uploads\/2001\/05\/kpfk.jpgthumb.jpg"}},"attachments":[],"comments":[]}
