This was necessitated by the

urgent need to address a variety of issues that had been until that time

deferred, such as how to facilitate the addition of new IMCs to the network.

These are urls for the texts of various proposals, with revisions made based

on input from people at the San Francisco conference, as

submitted to various lists whose archives are located at lists.indymedia.org.

Unfortunately, there is no one place that has a comprehensive listing of

these proposals. And this is especially problematic, as we want to get

feedback from everyone who might take an interest in guiding the future

development of the IMC network. Accordingly, as an effort to rectify this

situation, I'm taking the liberty of gathering some of these revised

proposals here. Please send mail to imc@libertad.ucsd.edu if I've missed

any documents that should be listed here.

Decision making working group proposals

http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/public/imc-dmwg/2001-May/000005.html

Principles of Unity

http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/public/imc-process/2001-May/001750.html

Proposed guidelines for new IMCs

http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/public/imc-process/2001-May/001781.html

Communications working group notes

http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/public/imc-communication/2001-May/001829.html

Original IMC Network Charter Proposal

Note: this has been revised and amended; it is here only for reference.

The proposals and notes from the meetings above supersede parts of it.

http://internal.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=198&group=webcast">http://internal.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=198&group=webcast

These are some urls for proposals that were presented at the
Press Freedom Conference in San Francisco, April 27-29.
