> To Richard Lovett,

>

> It angers and saddens me that the Creative Artists Agency is

> actively taking part in acts of hate against the black population of

> this country. By denying black promoters access to white acts, you

> are sending a message to all that you wish to continue the subtle

> segregation that the civil rights movements and continued activist

> movements have not been able to eradicate.

> Racism hurts everyone one of us, no matter the aggressor.

> The consequences of this unfortunate policy that your agency

> continues contribute to a society wide structure of hate that you

> should be ashamed to be upholding.

> Please rectify the situation at once and bring black

> promoters into the circle of inclusion in which they belong. This

> move by your agency would also be symbolic of a greater commitment to

> social justice in general. Businesses do have a responsibility to

> the public. Your racist policies are hurting the Los Angeles

> community and the United States as a whole.

> Thank you for your time. I hope that you truly do take these

> words to heart.
