AREA C CLEAN-UP and CELEBRATION!!

Saturday, February 24, 2001 - All Ages Welcome



Dear Friends:

State Controller Kathleen Connell has afforded us a great opportunity to begin to clean up the state owned Area C at the Ballona Wetlands.

Please come and show community solidarity in reclaiming this special place. Your presence is needed to send this massage. This is an unprecedented opportunity!!!

When: Saturday, February 24th 10:00am - 1:00pm

Where: Area C of the Ballona Wetlands

(East of Lincoln, North of Ballona Creek)

Location:

The best option is to bike-ride or walk. If you

drive, please try to carpool :-) .

The entrance to the Clean-Up event is at

McConnell Street and the Ballona Creek Bike

Path entrance, just south of Culver Blvd.

Directions from the intersection of Lincoln & Washington:

Take Lincoln South

Turn Left onto the Marina Free

way (90 East)

Take a Left on Culver Blvd.

Take a Right on McConnell

McConnell dead-ends to the

entrance of the bike path which

runs along Ballona Creek.

There is street parking available.
