Take ADD, Cancer, Diabetes, and AIDS organizations.  The major contributors to these groups are pharmaceutical companies, and these organizations promote drugs from the companies that fund them.\r\n\r\nProject Inform, a nation-wide AIDS organization which supposedly gives out information on AIDS treatments, gets half of their funding from the pharmaceutical industry.  Project Inform's information and recommendations for AIDS drugs directly correlates to how much funding they receive from the company that makes the drugs.  The more money they give, the more their drugs are promoted as being crucial to take, despite their many deadly side-effects.  The pahrmaceutical industry has convinced people that open-ended chemotherapy for life can help someone with AIDS, but if you look at all the opportunistic infections of AIDS, they are identical to the side-effects of AIDS drugs, and new opportunistic infections are added as new AIDS drugs with new side-effects are put out on the market.\r\n\r\nThe second leading cause of death in the US today, just behind heart disease, is from taking pharmaceutical drugs!
