\r\n\r\nI wanted to mention briefly why I've included the article entitled\r\n\"Author Links Bush Family to Nazis\". Amidst the thousand-plus messages\r\nI've received since election day, I've gotten plenty of smears against\r\nthe major figures in this controversy. I've tossed most of them. Yet\r\ndespite what you might think from its title, this particular article\r\nis not a smear. It claims that Prescott Bush made much of his fortune\r\nthrough his connection with Nazi-controlled companies, but it also\r\npoints out that the Rockefellers and Kennedys profited in similar ways.\r\nI mention this because of the attack messages about Al Gore's father\r\nthat have cluttered my mailbox throughout the campaign, not to mention\r\nthe allusions to Bill Daley's father that have appeared lately in the\r\npress. It's not good to whack people for things their parents did.<\/p>
