The ACLU won for the protesters the right to be seen and heard, not blocks away.  We have the right to speak to the delegates.  I would not copulate to the police that right without a fight.  I am proud to say I stayed in the protest zone after the police declared it an unlawful assembly on the slimmest of pretexts.  If someone in the crowd assaulted a policeman, then he should be arrested.
