The activists and homeowners held their signs and marched in a circle chanting "B.O.A how many homes did you steal today…. Bank of America, Bad for America". The demonstration lasted for about two hours.

RIVERSIDE (California) - While Occupy Riverside celebrated "Buy Nothing Day," the remainder of the 99% who have yet to abandon the consumerist habits that are destroying the planet shopped at Black Friday's holiday sales. The last several years of this display of vacuous capitalism has been fêted by the city's ruling class with the "Festival of Lights," a ritualized lighting of an electrified Christmas Tree. This year, Occupy Riverside was on hand to intervene with its own "Festival of Rights."

Thursday, February 25, 2010 POMONA - A rally of about a hundred students and their supporters demanded an end to a 2.9% fee charged to them on all on-campus credit card transactions. In the quad of Cal Poly Pomona, students gave speeches and cheered as student leaders denounced the fee as another example of "decisions being made about us without us."
Jews Shut Down Israeli Consulate -LA (tags)
Early this morning, Jewish activists in a historic first in Los Angeles, chained themselves to the entrance of the Israeli Consulate and blocked the driveway to the parking structure, blocking all traffic in and out of the building. "We sent a clear message to the world that LA Jews are part of the global majority in opposition to the Israeli siege of Gaza," said Lenny Potash a 72-year old protester who was cuffed to eight other activists, blocking the driveway to the consulate. The activists were joined by 50 other supporters and who chanted "LA Jews say, End the Siege of Gaza" and "Not in Our Name! We will Not be Silent!" Protesters also held up signs reading "Israeli Consulate: Closed for War Crimes."
