At the same time, attacks against the Guapinol community that has for many months resisted mining company Inversiones Los Pinares was horrifying, with reactivation of capture orders against environmental defenders - of some 32, 7 went to court to try to fight the charges there and put an end to them only to be taken into custody and refused bail, and in under a week, one of those who chose not to attend court was assassinated.
