Ayon sa PESANTE NEWS, isang engkwentro ang naganap sa pagitan ng mga pwersa ng NPA Aurora at mga tropa ng 48th ?Cedula/Berdugo? Battalion sa kabundukan ng Brgy. Dikapinisan, San Luis, Aurora noong Agosto 23, 2011. Ito ay nagsimula ng ganap na alas-6:30 ng umaga. Naka-maniobra palayo ang yunit ng NPA pag-abot ng alas-7 ng umaga. Nagpatuloy ang walang direksyong pagpapaputok ng mga militar hanggang lampas tanghali nang magdatingan ang kanilang sumaklolong helicopter . Malaki ang pinsala ng mga sundalo ng 48th IB. Ayon sa mga mapagkakatiwalaang mga impormante sa hanay mismo ng militar, pulisya, at marami pang mga sources ng kilusan, aabot ng 7 ang napatay na mga sundalo sa labanan, at 6 ang mga sugatan.
