The Rohyinga people a minority in SW Burma are being forced into Bangladesh by violence. Observers of southern asia might recall what happened to Cambodia when the world had concentrated on the Vietnam war

Cambodia had a monarchy Sinahouk, as well as the Communist party of Cambodia led by Chairman pol pot who was also the leader of the Khmer Rouge. A smaller 3rd group named the Khmer Serei which was both anti monarchy and anti communist existed. Millions were uprooted from their homes as sell as businesses and many died while their was little aid or forces to prevent killings by Chinese communist made AK-47's and political advisers from communist China who met with Pol Pot and shook his hands in a gang of 14. This was in the middle part of the 1970's when the worlds attention was numbed by the horrors unfolding in Vietnam another war casualty.

It is difficult to get political refugees back to their homes, businesses and other places easily especially when there is arms, burnings and threats. We hope the United Nations will be able to protect the innocent citizens of Burma from more violence we also hope for economic stability and freedom of the press in this state on the Bangladesh Burma border
