Mandatory jury duty harms the environment

Problems with mandatory jury duty
Majority Rejected
About 2/3 of drafted jurors are
rejected after having already
traveled extremely far to a distant
courthouse.

Distant courthouse
Drafted
jurors are required to travel
very far to distant courthouses
instead of the courthouse that is
closest to where they live.
link to
enormous distance traveled.
Drafted jurors have to drive long distances to distant
courthouses and that driving hurts the environment
by polluting the air and adding greenhouse gas and
creating replacement gasoline often includes the use
of toxic chemicals that pollute water.
Mandatory jury duty is responsible for a large portion of global warming.
Earth will eventually become extremely HOT if mandatory jury duty
is allowed to continue in the United States. ( About 250 degrees. )
