Verizon Please Protect Yahoo Groups Subscribers

by Yahoo Groups Subscriber Monday, Jul. 25, 2016 at 10:13 AM

Tens of millions of Yahoo Groups subscribers want protection for their posts.

Verizon has bought Yahoo for 4.5 billion dollars and intends to merge it with another company they own, AOL. They have announced they will put AOL and Yahoo under the management of Marni Walden, executive VP.

Most of the tens of millions of Yahoo Groups subscrbers
hope that Verizon will honor Yahoo Groups and will expand its functions,
e.g. giving a scroll function and edit function. In addition
most Groups moderators want an end to spam pornography.

A scroll function, provided by many other corporations
and internet sites, gives the ability to download all
posts on a Group in an immediate scroll or ebook.

Yahoo Groups began in 1998. Yahoo Groups, says Wikipedia,
is 'one of the world’s largest collections of online discussion
boards'.

Thank you to Jerry Yang, Yahoo cofounder, for all the good he has done.

Yahoo has been known through Yang's work for its noncensorship of posts, as well as for noncooperation with the universal and unconstitutional spying of the NSA.

Group members post messages, photos, have file storage, link storage, polling capabilities, a database, member lists, etc.
