Network news has been hiding the role of Kinross, Canadian mining conglomerate with mines around the world, in causing the Animas River disaster

Millions of gallons of waste water from the Gold King Mine have been released in the Animas River
of Colorado, and rivers in Utah and Mexico. The pollution extends to Utah. Before this spill, the Gold King and other mines
had killed all the fish and some other species in the Upper Animas water basin.

Lead 12,000 times higher than the EPA limit was released into the Animas River.as were
brain destroying mercury (10 times higher). Colorado state officials in testing the water found samples of beryllium and cadmium were 33 times higher than allowed. A sample of poisonous arsenic was more than 800 times higher. The plume has passed on but much sediment is on the bottom of the Colorado, Utah, and Mexican rivers into which the plume flowed, making fish flesh dangerous for many years (as Fukushima radiation has done to Pacific ocean fish.

The Canadian owned Kinross Gold Corporation which owns the Sunnyside Mine in Colorado which spilled its toxic waste water full of many kinds of heavy metal is the 7th largest gold company in the world. Kinnross owns mines and other operations in the US, Chile, Russia, Ghana, Mauritania, Chile etc. Network news have tried to protect the international conglomerate responsible....but the following is from the Denver Post

'Gold King owner Todd Hennis, president of San Juan Corp., said Tuesday in an interview that backed-up wastewater inside the Sunnyside Mine is to blame for Wednesday's blowout. Sunnyside Gold Corp. is owned by Kinross, a $2.3 billion company that runs mines worldwide.'
