Republicans will need help from some Democrats to reach a 2/3 vote.

Republicans only won 52% of the Senate. Republicans need help from some Democrats in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives in order to repeal the healthcare reform law of 2010 at least repeal the individual mandate. Remember that only those states that have a health insurance exchange established by the state are eligible for subsidies.

An all volunteer jury system will provide tort reform by increasing the accuracy of verdicts.

Republicans have partially won the U.S. Senate with a 52% Majority
but have failed to win the 67% supermajority in the House and Senate
needed for the easiest repeal of the healthcare law.
If they try to repeal just parts of the law I hope that they repeal
the individual mandate before repealing the medical device tax
because the individual mandate requiring people to buy health insurance
hurts more people than the medical device tax which affects very few
individuals.
The Republican Party claims to support education. I hope that Republicans
will replace the required repayment of Pell Grants with a entrance exam
before student financial aid is given that includes a High School level
algebra test.
Even computer programming needs knowledge of High School Algebra.
High level programming languages use statements that look a lot like
algebraic equations.

Problems with Healthcare Reform

Healthcare reform is unpopular

Republicans still have less than a 67% majority. I hope that Republicans
can still get rid of the individual mandate so people will no longer be
required to buy health insurance.
