Canadian Billionaires: Keep Your Filthy Oil Ask Congress To Vote Against Pipeline Mpv 19

Keystone would be environmental destruction, without any kind of benefit to the people of the US. TransCanada has not offered to put money in a spillfund. The Canadian rich take the money and the people of the US take the risk.

Canadian Billionaires: Keep Your Filthy Oil Ask Congress To Vote Against Pipeline On Nov 1

Keystone would be environmental destruction, without any kind of benefit to the people of the US

Reasons to vote against the Keystone Pipeline:

1. The people of Canada have already voted against a pipeline across Canada by the oil company TransCanada.

2. The pipeline would benefit Canadian billionaires and Texas petroplutocrats but the people of the US would have no financial benefit. The rich would take the profits ... but the poor of America would pay the cleanup costs.

3. Fragile semi desert environments would be subjected to oil spills.

4. TransCanada has paid nothing into an oil spill cleanup fund, nor has it said it would.

5. TransCanada has said their filthy shale oil costs $110 a gallon to produce. Currently oil is selling at $75 a gallon.

6. It is because of the US government's draconian policies toward the people of Venezuela (who gave several hundred million dollars in oil for heating to the poor of New England, unlike any US oil company) that Canadian billionaires have rushed into the vacuum.

7. One of the billionaires is Alain Bouchard, owner of Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. He was the chief beneficiary of the unethical treatment of Venezuela by the oil company pawns of the US government. Citgo stations (owned by Venezuela) were driven out of many areas and instead became known as the pricegouging Circle K stores.

Nov 18 the Congress will vote on the pipeline. Please call 202 224 3121 to ask for a no vote.
