These new "Dial 911" posters in Valley Metro buses sound like they are there to create a jobs program for cops.

I always thought that you were only supposed to dial 911 for emergencies.

But these new posters seem to say that you should dial 911 for anything.

I suspect it's to create a jobs program for cops who will be able to collect overtime for trivial crimes like jaywalkers and pot smokers!!!!

OK, that's what the SWAT Team and Bomb Squad from the Tempe Police thought before they blew up the guys backpack but in every case it turned out to be some poor smucks dirty underwear. Not a Bomb!!!!

Hey think of it as a jobs program for under worked and over paid cops.

Would you rather have these cops protecting you from dangerous criminals (AKA dirty underwear) or working at a min wage job flipping burgers???

Don't answer that!!! The cops will be very angry when they find out you their it's a huge waste of our tax dollars to pay them an hour to blow up dirty underwear!!!!
