Want to save tigers? Want to make a worldwide impact for forests? Then join us for the Global Day of Action for Forests. Greenpeace Orange County will be holding a funeral procession to mourn the loss of the rainforests for cheap palm oil.

Wear all BLACK, semi-formal attire to show your empathy for those who are silenced. Signs will be provided.

We will be meeting at 11:30AM SHARP outside of South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, CA to prepare for our funeral procession. Meet OUTSIDE in front of Macy's.

We wish to mourn the thousands of animals who have burned to death or who have been orphaned, millions of trees slashed, burned and bulldozed and hundreds of thousands of indigenous people driven out of their homes and pushed into wage slavery all for the sake of cheaper palm oil.

We demand Procter and Gamble, the key company in Indonesia's deforestation, to divest in dirty palm oil in order to eliminate the unnecessary suffering of Indonesia's people, animals and the ecosystems on which they rely on for life!
