KFC Causes Yum Foods Profits To Drop 70%

Chinese outlets are three quarters of KFC business. A number of factors
have caused the drop in profits at Yum Foods of Louisville Kentucky which owns KFC.

One is the worldwide boycott of KFC for unnecessarily brutal methods of slaughter in its suppliers.
150 US KFC's closed in the first 6 months of 2010 alone.

Second is the outbreak of salmonella and of avian flu in the US, China and elsewhere.

In the US a number of Kentucky Fried Chicken outlets have closed permanently
because of declining sales and in some cases health inspection problems.

Under Ronald Reagan, meat inspection line speed doubled. Many chickens whiz by too fast for observation.
Although the industry tries to hide chicken cancer, leukemia, by calling it leukosis,
it is a disease which can be transmitted to humans who eat chickens.
In addition, the uric acid or trioxypurine in chicken flesh is a major cause of arthritis.
Campylobacter, salmonella and ecoli (colon bacteria) are three common chicken flesh diseases.
