It is time we had a three day weekend, every week.
While many workers have sought after the 4 day work week, employers have never considered it an option. There is another solution. We could add a new day to the week, between Saturday and Sunday. In keeping with the tradition of naming days after planets, let's call this new day Uranusday, after the planet Uranus (Saturday is named after Saturn). It will be a culturally neutral day, neither special to Jews nor Christians where we can all enjoy a day off in peace. Please sign this official White House petition demanding a three day weekend, complete with Uranusday.
