Why Do They Like Children?

by Sudhama Ranganathan Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 at 7:10 AM
uconnharassment@gmail.com

Whenever we hear about sexual predators in our society we, desire to take action and hunt them, bring them to justice and get them off the streets. On the news often we hear of rings of such people getting busted. Sometimes it's the internet and child pornographers, etc. Sometimes it's closer to home. Either way, we're glad they're busted, exposed and off the streets. We consider that a high priority for law enforcement, wouldn't you agree? The safety, welfare and protection of our kids comes first and foremost, prior to anything else. We feel it in the pit of our stomachs, instinctively, whether we have kids or we don't, we must make them safe.

Smiley face

When we find those that would seek out and hunt our children to rape or molest them we take them down as a society. That's as it should be. Yet, believe it or not, there are places where it is and has been tolerated that we would not expect. In fact in certain places it would be the very last place we would expect.

Tax payer dollars are important and how they are spent should not be taken lightly. We should not support never ending conflicts between our nation and others, and we don't support conflicts drag on and things are obviously pointless, Americans know when the investment has soured. It would be the same if we were putting money towards a war between two nations that were entirely separate from ours.

Sure we may have decedents from both sides living here and donating to political causes, but if we were pouring hard earned tax money from people of many ethnic and cultural backgrounds and were getting nothing but misery, complaining from both sides, combativeness, stubbornness, obstinacy, utilizing the aid for non-productive behavior, refusing to compromise, lying, spying, destabilizing, imposing apartheid, terrorizing we would eventually tire and say, “what the heck are we funding this for?”

We are far from funding a lasting peace and moving closer and closer to funding the conflict itself. Were we not there they would be forced to negotiate and sit at the table or the UN would step in and make them. It would mean we would be paying both to keep them attacking each other and paying to keep them apart. Couple of ungrateful brats! If such countries existed and our representatives were stupid or greedy enough to fund such things, that is. Either way, hard earned tax dollars flushed down the toilet there could, hypothetically, go towards paying down US debt, catching up our educational system, our crumbling infrastructure, etc. That would be where things were headed as this is the US, and it's the US first when it comes to US taxes.

Taxes mean something to us, especially after what we just went through. Paying all that cash to Bank of America, AIG, Goldman Sachs and the like made us more interested in breaking the golden noose tying our dollars to losing situations. My skin's good enough, without all that worthless junk, thank you. Our taxes have been going to other things that make the skin crawl in other ways.

For much of the security work overseas in places like Iraq and Afghanistan, we have been relying heavily on security contractors to make up for shortcomings in our own military. But, we've been using them in other places. Two other places have been Bosnia and Columbia, for example. But tax dollars have a way of doing the most dirty things.

One of the wealthy corporations that receives US tax dollars for such work along with other work is the company DynCorp. They get over 3 billion dollars in tax payer dollars every single year. Yet the company has a dark under belly and within it you’ll find the worst of the worst. It is a place for the scum to hide and live out their twisted desired harming the innocent, abandoned and hopeless.

In four separate incidents the corporation has been caught red handed being involved in sex trafficking. Three of the four were confirmed to have involved minors. In Bosnia their employees were caught purchasing the passports of children for sex. They would own the children for sex and bring them to DynCorp functions as dates. No one at DynCorp batted an eye. In Columbia their employees were caught purchasing sex from minors again. This time they taped it. One of the minors committed suicide.

In Iraq their employees were caught using armored vehicles purchased with our dollars to transport prostitutes into the Green Zone to be pimped. Because of this an unarmored vehicle that should have been armored ended up in an incident and people were killed. In Afghanistan their employees were caught paying underage orphaned boys to dress like girls. The children were expected to then perform a ritual that traditionally involved a dance followed by bidding to rape the child. This is not a little issue, but a culture within DynCorp that clearly is supportive of child rape and child molestation and the people that actively seek to commit such acts. Our government knows this, has prosecuted one case, and brought another up for Congressional scrutiny, with the others in the papers, and yet we give this corporation $3 billion annually of our hard earned money. Surely there's a less slimy way.

That is all tax dollars, and it leads to and knocks on the door of another question. Most, if not all of the security personnel or even mechanics, of DynCorp and such companies, are former military. It's where they learn to shoot, train indigenous forces, repair military vehicles and transportation, etc. In the military human trafficking has been a problem for a long time and has become such an issue President George W. Bush actually passed a law trying to strengthen enforcement of and punishment for soldiers taking the tax dollars we give them to pay prostitutes (usually slaves, kidnap victims and children) for sex. Yet, like financial regulations, such laws apparently weren’t passed to be enforced.

This idea that it was okay to do this has been instilled in these rapists starting with their time in the military. There was a time not long ago soldiers were regularly paying for sex with underage children and bragging about it. During certain overseas conflicts and corresponding “r&r stops” child prostitution was accepted by US military brass. Those that participated plus stayed in the military are now brass themselves. Yet, what people look at twelve year old children and think about sex? How exactly is that normal? Children are children.

The attitude regarding sex in the military also goes deeper where it allows women serving this nation to be raped by their fellow soldiers and have no charges brought against the people that did it. Imagine that. They put their lives on the line for this nation and the thanks they get is rape and a cover up that favors the perpetrator and protects rapists. In many cases the women are actually charged then discharged for having committed adultery, as the people that raped them were married. Can you imagine?

Yet our government did nothing to dig into this root it out, and stop the culture which will continue until we put an end to it. It's not for us to know why they like children. It's abhorrent, deviant and vile. Also, it must be stopped and killed at the root. Clean it up at that spot, and it never spreads its poison.
