*History of Los Angeles Anarchist Movement Part 2 By Matt. To watch the video interview click here.
Small Correction though - the first known siting of an anarchist in LA was in 1896 not 1892. It was the bombing of the Eagle
Woolen Co. The Los Angeles Times described stated that it must be anarchist because a “seedy-looking man about 45-years
old” with a “a straggly beard, wild-looking eyes" was seen while "carrying an ugly looking article in his hand.” That is what I
get for agreeing to impromptu interviews. By Matt.
GREEN ROOM 4pm - 4:50pm
*Polyamory: Anarchy & Love by Jacquie
The purpose of the workshop is to challenge ourselves to be less controlling and more open in our relationships in
order to subvert the hetero-normative idea of ownership over a partner's body. In challenging this idea, we challenge
ourselves to be more free, more trusting, and more independent. We'll discuss the different styles of polyamory, how
a polyamorous "family" or "clan" can enrich our lives (both as individuals and activists), and how to begin
incoorperating more openness in a monogamous relationship.
SECOND FLOOR 4pm - 5pm (no workshops due to PA system used in the main room)
