Los Angeles River Artist Business Assoc. President Joseph Pitruzzelli Shows His Hypocrisy... Why does LARABA care so much about Mental Health Court in the Arts District considering their own president could drive anyone crazy? What about the property that was an an actual artist in residence at 808 E. 3rd St. for over 20 years before the sausage nightmare Wurstkuche showed up?? You did nothing when your hypocritical president Joseph Pitruzzelli and his arrogant cousin illegally turned 808 E. 3rd Street into a 24 hour nightmare warehouse and harassed a long time arts district artist out of his own studio with their total lack of any conscience, consideration or any true knowledge of the arts district or it's history! I've been here since 1982! Where were you then? Where are you now as your president continues a year after I left my studio to try to harass me in order to cover the truth of how he treated me as his artist neighbor? I'll tell you... You were and still are all standing around with your heads up your own hypocritical asses! You're all as pathetic as your token anti-artist president! Joseph Pitruzzelli is a little yuppie prick who's ego makes him thinks he's entitled! So I'll keep giving him what I think he's entitled to... Multiple mirrors to look into for a long time to come. Mirrior Mirror on the wall, whos an hypocrite after all... Your president, Joseph Pitruzzelli. I finally visited your blog and now understand what's going on.
WK is def in the wrong here.
The larger problem is that artists and many other people who work at home need a different environment. Artists moved into warehouses during the industrial decline of the 70s and 80s, and benefitted from both the decreased noise, and the commercial or industrial zoning, which were intended for businesses.
It's illegal to work from home, for the most part, if you have to get a lot of clients in, or make noise or traffic during the day. You're supposed to be at an office or studio. The problem, of course, was that it was expensive. The live-work arrangement made things more affordable.
The problem is that gentrification happens, and the commercial zoning brings with it noise and people. Artists and other at-home workers need quiet, yet there is no non-residential, commercial quiet zoning. One should be developed.
The closest thing there is, is hospitals. Perhaps a "quiet commerical" zone should be created, where the rules are extreme quiet in the evenings, and general quiet during the day. No machinery. No hammering, etc. The trade off, for most average residents, is that they tend to use power tools, or have kids around, etc. These would be forbidden.

The problem was the care less arrogant attitudes of Wurstkuche restaurant owners Joseph Pitruzzelli and Tyler Wilson as well as my sleazy money hungry landlord Paul Solomon. They all knew it was illegal and didn't care from moment one. Joseph Pitruzzelli, Tyler Wilson and Paul Solomon don't have a conscience or a single speck of integrity between them all! And that's my personal experience! Joseph Pitruzzelli and Tyler Wilson are pathetic yuppie scumbags that disrupted my life and are still trying to harass me a year after I was forced out of my studio by their 24 hour artist nightmare, the Wurstkuche sausage mill.
