We’ve done everything the way we were supposed to. But we’re not going to just sit back and let Freddie Mac steal our home.”At Monday’s event, Art and supporters from ACCE and Occupy Riverside will note that it is still up to Freddie Mac and JP Morgan Chase to decide whether to go through with the eviction rather than negotiate the loan modification that he believes he qualifies for. “I’ve never been active in protests,” Art said, “but we decided to fight back for ourselves and for others who are having their lives upended by these banks.”
