Los Angeles, CA , December 22, 2011- The United States Youth Volleyball League is ready to bring another fun-filled season of volleyball to your local community. Player and Volunteer Registration is currently open for the new and exciting Spring 2012 Season. The USYVL is an instructional league that welcomes both boys and girls between the ages of 7-15 to come out and enjoy our exhilarating eight week program where “Every Child Plays!” The USYVL helps to get kids active while teaching the fundamentals of volleyball such as serving, passing, setting, and spiking. Every player who registers will receive a uniform t-shirt, his/her own volleyball, and a participation medal.

USYVL has two leagues to service the community in the Los Angeles area in Culver City at Linwood Howe Elementary School on Thursdays and Saturdays and in Santa Monica at Clover Park on Wednesday and Saturdays starting in April and ending in June.

The USYVL is a volunteer organization and is currently looking for Volunteer’s for the upcoming Spring 2012 season. We are in need of Volunteer Coaches, Assistant Coaches, First Aid Administrators (must be currently CPR/First Aid Certified), and Site Directors. Volunteering with the USYVL is fun, super-easy, tremendously rewarding, and a great way to make a difference in a child’s life in your community! No volleyball experience is necessary to volunteer with USYVL. We also offer High School Students a chance to earn community service hours by volunteering!

Player and Volunteer Registration for the Spring 2012 Season can be done online at www.USYVL.org. For more information about volunteer opportunities, additional locations near you, to request a registration form, or if you have questions please contact us at the USYVL National Office at 1.888.988.7985. We also offer multiple child discounts!
