On Dec 20, 2011, the first day of Chanukah, the Jewish festival of lights that commemorates liberation, Lori Berenson, a victim of anti-Semitism common in Catholic countries like Peru, finally came home. Coincidentally, the latest leader of Stalinist North Korea, Kim Jong Il, died Dec 17, 2011, so the US saber rattling under the guise of "human rights" was renewed on all airwaves. Ignored everywhere, including KPFA, was the anti-Semitic frame-up of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, by Democratic president Harry Truman in 1950 to make Jew, Communist and traitor synonymous to justify the war of anti-communism in Korea, in the US first stage attempt to destroy the 1949 Chinese revolution, leaving 3 million dead Koreans, and a devastated country.

One exception to Willson's analysis is that 9/11 was not a "tragedy" but an inside job, perpetrated by the US military at the behest of the US capitalist class, to perpetrate war and fascism to maximize profits for the capitalist class, the primary law and goal of capitalism. No air defense can only mean it was an inside job, and if you need more, there was also the controlled demolition of the Twin Towers and Building 7, which Building 7 was not hit by a plane. There were no hijackers on the planes; the planes were on remote control guided by the US military. This was the American Reichstag Fire, when the Nazis burned their own parliament building and blamed the Communists to perpetrate war and fascism to maximize the profits of the ruling capitalist class.

The United States is not immune from anti-Semitism. During World War 2, 2/3 of the Jewish population of Europe, 6 million of 9 million, the center of the world's Jewish population at the time, were murdered by the Nazis. That war ended in 1945. By 1950, the US was carrying on the fascist legacy of the Nazis, being another capitalist, anti-communist country, determined to also destroy the Soviet Union, as was Nazi Germany, and by 1950, China, which had a revolution in 1949, kicking out the landlords and attempting to establish socialism, an effort reversed by 1986. To whip up support from war-weary USA for its war machine that it never dismantled, it had Democratic President Harry Truman frame 3 Jews, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg and Morton Sobell on false and phony charges of conspiracy to commit atomic espionage in 1950. There was no atomic secret. The Soviet Union had been our ally during World War 2 against Nazi Germany. As Clarence Darrow, a great labor lawyer said, conspiracy charges should have been thrown out with the thumbscrew and the rack as they exact the maximum penalty, death, without proving an overt act. It is noteworthy that whistleblower Bradley Manning has also been framed on espionage charges by a Democratic President, Obama, when he should be freed and celebrated as a hero for exposing the horror of the illegal war perpetrated against the Iraqi people by the USA to maximize its oil and munitions profits, where the greatest profits are.

The Rosenbergs were murdered on June 19, 1953; Morton Sobell spent 19.5 years in prison. By refusing to cooperate with the lies of US imperialism, the Rosenbergs literally broke the back of the Cold War. They left behind 2 young children; the US government orphaned and terrorized children and created such an atmosphere of anti-Communist hate that it was difficult to find a home for them as their relatives who wanted to take care of them were afraid to do so. A couple finally came forward and adopted them.

Democrat Obama has promised to sign a military appropriations bill that includes another concentration bill to put all political opponents in death camps for life, without charges or trial. This bill won the support of most Democrats and Republicans, including Pelosi, Feinstein and Boxer. We had this horror in the 1950s, the Emergency Detention Act of 1950, repealed in 1971 during the height of the protests against the US anti-Communist War against Vietnam, which allowed for concentration camps for Communists and other political opponents.
