“Toys spill over in abundance at countless toy drives throughout the city. Rarely do others remember that teens, ages 13-18, enjoy receiving gifts too” says Veda Williams Curry, CEO of Vee Williams Entertainment and Co-Founder of Sack Full of Dreams Non Profit Performing Arts. Our goal this year is to set aside a special Time for Teens and shower them with gifts, and accolades for their accomplishments as well as encouragement for those who simply need the gift of a gentle nudge to discover and step into their unlimited greatness.

In addition to handing out gifts to at-risk youth, guests will enjoy live entertainment in the form of music, spoken word/poetry and dance by several of the teens in the Sack Full of Dreams program. Stephisha and Viveca with Project F.L.O.W. (our creative writing program instructors) will recite poetry that will ignite our social awareness and call for a social change. Guests will also enjoy a special mini concert by vocal stylist, Adrien who’s R&B and Neo-Soul song selections raise issues of social awareness. Adrien Curry, is the Co-Founder of Sack Full of Dreams and uses his musical expertise to teach music production and run the music department of the program.

Sack Full of Dreams Non-Profit Performing Arts Program instills youth empowerment through the arts. From nourishing self esteem through dance, drama, poetry/spoken word and vocal lessons, youth have a voice and are encouraged to make life choices that will better their future. “The transformation that many of the youth have made as a result of the performing arts program is heartwarming,” states Curry.
